Women's Lacrosse Alumna Named Head Coach at Wilmington College

WILMINGTON, Ohio – Berry College women's lacrosse graduate, Taylor Martin (14C), has been selected as the new head coach at Wilmington College, effective September 3.

Martin will join the NCAA Division III program after serving as the graduate assistant coach at Castleton University, in Virginia, for the past two years. The Spartans recorded a 24-13 record with Martin at the helm, following her standout career as a Viking.

Martin played in 60 games as a goalie during her time at Berry, recording 55 starts. She added 412 saves in her four-year career, finishing with a 31-23 overall record in goal. She also served as a team captain while at Berry, earning both IWLCA Honor Roll honors, as well as SAA All-Sportsmanship accolades.

Wilmington will be coming off of a 2-14 record during the 2017 campaign under previous Head Coach Bree Galloway.
