Vikings Win at LaGrange, 15-11

LaGRANGE, Ga. -- Kristan Dziurzynski scored six goals to lead the Berry College women's lacrosse team to a 15-11 win at LaGrange on Tuesday night.

BC improved to 7-7 and LaGrange fell to 6-10.

The Panthers led 6-5 before Rachel Aiken tallied twice in the last 2:35 of the first half to give the visitors a 7-6 advantage at the break. Aiken scored three goals for Berry.

In the second half, the Vikings led 9-8 before scoring six straight times to put the game out of reach. LaGrange ended the game with the last three goals.

Berry led in shots (42-19) and draw controls (16-12). Chelsea Tortaro had 23 saves for the Panthers.

Taylor Marting stopped five LaGrange shots and got the win.

Berry closes regular season play on Saturday when Centre visits for a 1 p.m. match.
