Women's Golf Makes Final Round Cut at NCAA Championships

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. — The Berry College women's golf team maintained their ninth spot at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships on Thursday, ensuring their spot in the final round tomorrow. 

The Vikings shot a 324 (+32) today, led by Jorie Hodapp who jumped 15 spots to 19th after shooting a 75 (+2) on the day. Berry continues to be led by Rachel Belanger who is currently 9th after shooting 80 (+7) today. 

Karley Hammond shot 86 (+13) today, sitting just outside the top 50. Loren Kim jumped three spots after an 83 (+10). Allison Smith rounded out scoring with an 87 (+14).

Only the top 15 teams advanced to tomorrow's round, as Claremont-Mudd-Scripps leads the pack with a 944 (+68) total. The Vikings are currently at 980 (+104).
