Women's Golf Earns Top 10 Finish at NCAA Championships

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. — The Berry College women’s golf team closed competition at the 2018 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships today, earning a ninth place finish.

Jorie Hodapp led the way in the final round, rocketing 12 spots to finish tied at 7th after shooting +3 on the day. Hodapp wrapped up the tournament shooting 314 (+22 - 84, 79, 75, 76).

Rachel Belanger followed, shooting +13 on the day to finish tied at 22nd. She shot 321 (+29 – 81, 74, 80, 86) for the tournament. Karley Hammond tied at 55th, shooting 336 (+44 – 79, 85, 86, 86). She was followed by Loren Kim who tied at 60th, shooting 341 (+49 – 89, 85, 83, 84).

Allison Smith shaved two strokes off her round three score, jumping 19 spots to tie for 73rd. She went 348 (+56 – 89, 87, 87, 85) for the tournament.

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps earned the national championship for the first time in program history.
