Vikings Golf Closes Competition at Golfweek Invite

SANDESTIN, Fla. - The Berry College men's and women's golf teams finished 13th and fourth, respectively, at the Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational, rounding out play today. 

The men's team shot a 891 (292, 299, 300) team total to finish 13th overall, only one stroke behind Guillford College. The women's team shot a 952 (331, 307, 314) team total to finish in fourth, just two strokes behind third-place finisher Mary Hardin-Baylor. Washington University at St. Louis shot a 912 (304, 307, 301) to take the team title on the women's side, while the University of Minnesota St. Thomas shot a 857 (284, 278, 295) to take the men's title.

Jorie Hodapp: 10th, 233 (82, 76, 75)
Rachel Belanger: T11th, 235 (84, 74, 77)
Tori Ramirez: T39th, 241 (84, 77, 80)

BERRY MEN'S STANDOUTS:
• Eddy Black: T3rd, 210 (68, 70, 72)
• Hunter Young: T51st, 225 (72, 78,75)

Berry will host the Chick-Fil-A Collegiate Invitational at the Coosa Country Club starting Monday, Oct.23.
