Cline Continues to Lead Berry at Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate

Nikki Cline shot 84 Saturday to lead Berry College's women's golf team in the second round of the 54-hole Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate.

Berry shot 369 Saturday, and enters Sunday's final round in 20th place with a 36-hole score of 722.

Cline is tied for 37th place on the individual leaderboard at 82-84-166.

The other four players in Berry's lineup shot in the 90s Saturday.

Chelsea Hoag shot 95 and is tied for 83rd place at 84-95-179. Nicole Wood carded her second straight round of 94 Saturday, tying her for 97th place at 188.

Berry's Lauren Buschhorn shot 98 on the second round and is tied for 101st at 93-98-191, and Cady Clark shot 96 for the second straight day to giver her a 36-hole score of 192 and tying her for 103rd place.

Methodist is in first place in the team standings with a seven-stroke lead over Coastal Georgia at 311-317-628.

Methodist's Jennifer Sullivan is in first place in the individual standings at 73-75-148. She holds a five-stroke advantage of Texas-Tyler's Danica Weddle and Illinois Wesleyan's Katie Klosterman.

The tournament is scheduled to conclude Sunday.
