2011 Track:Ran in eight meets…set a personal record in the 5,000 meters at the Emory Classic (3/26) with a time of 17:30.02…set another personal best, this time in the 1,500 meters, posting a time of 4:48.09 at the Sewanee outdoor meet (4/2)…ran the Flying Pig Half-Marathon in 1:27:45.
2010 Cross Country: Competed in five meets…his best time came at the Southeast Classic 8K (10/23) in 29:53, finishing 177th…his best place finish came at the Darlington Open 5K (10/2) where he clocked a 19:14.50 to propel him into 23rd place.
2010 Track: Ran the one mile event three times, clocking his best time of 4:52.03 at the Cumberland Invitational (4/10)... from the Birmingham Southern Invitational (3/13) to the Mountain Laurel Invitational, he improved his time in the 5,000 meters by two minutes for a personal best 17:53.47 (4/17)... he finished the 800 meter race at the Emory Classic (3/26-3/27) in 2:31.58... he posted a time of 4:49.93 in the 1500 at the Stan Lyons Invitational (4/24), and finished the season with his best time of 10:37.11 in the 3000 at the Sewanee Invitational (2/20)... concluded the spring season with an 87th place finish out of almost 12,000 runners in the Cleveland Half Marathon (5/16) with time of 1:30.43.
2009 Cross Country:Posted his career best time of 32:15.95 at Berry at the Berry Invitational... finished the Berry Provisional in 40th place, his best finish of the season... ran in three meets total.
High School: A four-year letter earner in cross country and track for East Jackson Comprehensive High and Jackson County Comprehensive High...earned JCCHS Scholar Athlete Track Award in 2006 and 2007, the JCCHS Scholar Athlete Cross Country Award in 2006 and 2007, was 10th in state at the EJCHS Cross Country 8AA Region Champs in 2007 and runner up 8th in state in 2008, was a Distance Medley Relay Team Member(12:28.8)... earned the President's Educational Award Program for Outstanding Academic Excellence in 2008 and graduated with honors, ranked ninth in his class…also participated in National Beta Club, National Technical Honors Society, National English Honors Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes... earned various awards in the ROTC…received the US Army Reserve National Scholar/Athlete Award in 2009 and earned the rank of Captain in 2009.
Personal: Christopher Andrew White was born in Athens, Ga...he is the son of David White, a former Berry College athleteand Shirley White...a communications major and English minor at Berry.
