2010 Cross Country: Ran an 8K best time of 27:01 at the Southeast Classic (10/23), finishing 70^th out of 239 runners…finished fourth out of 28 competitors in the Darlington Open 5K with a time of 16:45.77…ran a 34:38 in the USATF Club XC Nationals 10K (12/11).

2010 Track:Primarily competed in the 1500 meters, three times beating the previous season's record with times of 4:08.48 at both the Stan Lyons Invitational (4/24) and the Emory Classic (3/26-3/27), and his career-best of 4:06.15 at the Duke Twilight (May 9)... ran the 800 in 1:59.53 for fourth place… only missed his career-best by a few seconds... raced the 5,000 meters in 16:21.19 at the Emory Invitational (3/19-3/20).

2009 Cross Country: Exceeded 30 minutes only once in the six 8K races run... twice beat his personal best time of 28:35, once at the Southeast Classic for a time of 27:38.75, and again at the Cavalier Invitational to 27:27.77 for 26th place finish... his best placed finish was 16th out of 31 competitors at the Augusta State Invitational... also was a member of the SSAC All-Academic Team.

2009 Track:Ran the second fastest 800 meters on the team, achieving a time of 1:58...posted a time of 4:10.87 in the Emory Invitational 1,500 event (3/20-21) setting a new personal record...set a personal record of 1:19:28 in the Tallahassee Half Marathon (2/01) and another personal record of 35:08 in the 10K at the Berry Race (3/03).

2008 Cross Country: Competed in six cross country events...best finish was at the Southern States Athletic Conference where he came in 24th place with a time of 28:35...shaving nearly two minutes from his Furman Invitational time of 30:22.

High School: Graduated from Christian Academy in Japan where he participated in cross country, track and field, and wrestling…while running cross country, twice named a cross country All-Star, three times an MVP… captain for both cross country and track since his sophomore year…also named a member of the National Honor Society in 2006.

Personal: Calvin Blake Bannister was born in Birmingham, Ala…the son of Knox and Sanua Bannister... has three brothers, Johnathan, Michael, and Will…a biology major with chemistry and honors minors at Berry.
