Berry Men Nipped by Emmanuel, 5-4

Austinn Miller

ROME, Ga. -- The Berry men's tennis was edged by visiting Emmanuel, 5-4, on Monday. BC took two doubles matches, and prevailed at #4 and #6 singles.

The Vikings welcomed Seth Taylor back to action, but had to make other adjustments due to player availability.

"Any time you move players up in the lineup, it's tough to get a win," said Berry Head Coach Clay Hightower.

The seventh-seeded Vikings play #2 Oglethorpe in a SAA quarterfiinal match on Friday at 9 a.m. The event is being held at Old Fort Park in in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
