Men's Soccer Falls to Lynchburg 1-0 on Monday

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. — The Berry College men's soccer team fell to Lynchburg on Monday afternoon with a 1-0 final.

The Hornets' Fredy Flores found the back of the net just nine minutes into the first half off a good ball from Collin Kashmer. Berry had a pair of opportunites late in the game with shots by Jake Williamson and Milton Tama just sailing wide. The teams were relatively tight across all categories including shots where Lynchburg held a narrow 9-8 advantage. The Hornets were able to force seven corner kicks to Berry's three, but the Vikings' defense played well in the box allowing none to result in scores.
