Men's Soccer Blanked by Centre 3-0 on Friday Night

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. — The Berry College men's soccer team fell to the Centre Colonels 3-0 on Friday night in their SAA opener.

It was a full team effort for the Colonels, with the first goal from Alexander Garuba in the 15th minute to move the score to 1-0. Garuba was assisted on his goal by Harrison Dunn. Noah Wesley-Chevalier off the bench would then push the score to 2-0 with a goal in the 27th minute. The final goal for the Colonels would also come from the bench as Royce Pope scored a solo goal in the 72nd minute to push the score to 3-0.

NOTABLES:
• With the loss, the Vikings fall to 3-4 and 0-1 in SAA play 
• The Colonels improve to 5-3-1 and 1-0-1 in conference play 

UP NEXT: 
The Vikings will travel to play Sewanee on Sunday Oct. 1 at 1:00 ET. This is a make-up game that was originally scheduled to be played on 9/23.
