Men's Soccer Falls to Oglethorpe on Friday Night

ATLANTA — The Stormy Petrels scored two goals in the second half, as Oglethorpe held off the Berry College men’s soccer team 2-1 on Friday night. 

The Vikings’ Jack Giles scored his third goal of the year in the 50th minute off a pass from Jake Williamson. Berry remained ahead 1-0 going into halftime, but Oglethorpe’s Topher Marshall scored twice in the final 25 minutes of play to give the Stormy Petrels the win.

• With the loss, Berry falls to 7-6-1 overall, as well 3-3-1 in the Southern Athletic Association.

• Oglethorpe improves to 13-2-1 and 6-0-1.
