Men's Lacrosse Opens Season With 20-6 Win Over Huntingdon

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Jason Wilhelm and Chris Berchock each scored three goals as the Berry College men's lacrosse team defeated Huntingdon College 20-6 in their season opener on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The Vikings scored at least three goals in all four quarters of the game, ensuring the victory.
  • Berry remained ahead 9-3 at halftime.
  • Berry led the game in nearly every offensive category, including shots (52-25), shots on goal (33-10), assists (16-6) and ground balls (33-26).
  • The Vikings also forced 23 Hawks' turnovers to their 13.
