ROME, Ga. – Cory Hall scored a game-high five goals as Berry's men's lacrosse team won, 12-2, against conference opponent Rhodes on Friday afternoon at Ford Field.

Berry improved to 7-4 overall and 2-1 in Southern Athletic Association matchups. Rhodes fell to 4-6 and 0-2.

After John Sanford put Rhodes on the board first, Berry proceeded to tally the game's next six goals and led by a 6-2 margin at halftime.

Berry shut out Rhodes in the second half and also tacked on six more goals, including three by Hall.

Berry's Jordan Boreman earned the win in goal and made seven saves. Rhodes' Braxton Carr took the loss and stopped 17 shots.

Berry forced 24 turnovers and outshot Rhodes, 46-19.

"Our guys played real hard," said Berry Head Coach Chris Delfausse, "and executed pretty well. They're a well-coached team and young. Obviously we've got a little more experience than they do."

The Vikings will return to action on Easter Sunday in a SAA game against Hendrix. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
