Vikings Won at Huntingdon, 10-7

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -– Cory Hall scored three goals and had two assists as Berry College won at Huntingdon, 10-7, on Saturday.

The Vikings snapped a three-game skid and improved to 4-3. HC dropped to 5-5.

Bryan Byers added two goals and one helper. Blake Gwizdalski tallied twice for the Vikings, and Cal Supik dished two assists. Jordan Boreman had 10 saves in goal for the visitors.

BC led 5-1 after the first quarter and never trailed in the game. The Vikes led in shots, 43-34, and ground balls, 50-33. The Hawks won 14-21 faceoffs.

The Hawks cut the margin to 9-7 with a man-up goal with 9:06 left in regulation. Nat Morey (one goal, one assist) assisted Hall with an extra-man goal with 4:01 left for the game's final goal.

Jakob Works recorded six goals for Huntingdon.

Berry hosts Benedictine on Monday at 4 p.m.
