Marlins Hand Men's Lacrosse First Defeat, 11-10 in Overtime

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Virgnia Wesleyan defeated Berry College's men's lacrosse team, 11-10 in overtime on Saturday in a neutral site game.

The loss is the first for Berry and they fell to 3-1. VWC is 3-0 after the win.

Bryan Byers paced the Viking offense with three goals.

Teammate Kyle Lombardi scored opening goal of the game. Additionally, he tallied to with 14 seconds remaining in regulation to force the overtime period.
