Men's Golf Ranked No. 17 in Bushnell Preseason Poll

NORMAN, Okla. — Berry College's men's golf team has been ranked No. 17 in the Preseason Division III Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll, the organization announced on Friday.

Second-ranked and defending NCAA champion Wittenberg tallied six first-place ballots. No. 3 Methodist (one), fifth-ranked Huntingdon (five), seventh-ranked Emory (1), and No. 11 Oglethorpe also received first-place votes. Guilford and Greensboro, ranked fourth and sixth, respectively. Rhodes checked in at No. 8 and was followed by Illinois Wesleyan and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

In addition to Rhodes (8) and Oglethorpe (11), Sewanee (25) is the other Southern Athletic Association (SAA) rival to join the Vikings on the list. 

Berry will look forward to another strong season after finishing second at the SAA Championship last year.
