JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – Ryan Elmore is currently tied for fourth, as the Berry College men’s golf team sits tied for 13th following round two action at the Jekyll Island Invitational on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Elmore posted a 142 (70, 72) overall score to remain tied for fourth following round two play.
  • Joel Maire is tied for 42nd with 150 (77, 73).
  • Eddy Black sits tied for 71st after posting a 153 (79, 74) total.
  • Phil Leahy (160 – 82, 78) and Press Clark (164 – 79, 85) rounded out Berry scoring on Saturday.

NOTABLES:

  • The Vikings sit tied for 13th with a team score of 602 (305, 297).
  • Emory University is at the top of the team leaderboard with a 582 team total following round two play.
  • Oglethorpe’s Jacob Arnett shot a 141 two-day total to lead all individuals going into the final round of play.
  • Oglethorpe University and Rhodes College, second and tenth, respectively, are the only two SAA contenders ahead of Berry at the invitational.
