HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Berry College's Ryan Elmore shot a 70 (-2) final round total to finish tied at fifth at the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship.

His fifth place finish tied Brad Lankler of Franklin & Marshall for the highest finish by an individual competitor. Josh Gibson and Garret Brickley of Hope and Wittenberg, respectively, earned the chance at a playoff for the individual national title.

Elmore shot rounds of 73, 76, 72 and 70 for a 291 total to complete his Berry career. He was named to the PING All-Region team on Wednesday and still has a chance at another All-American honor.
