Berry in fifth at Callaway

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- Berry College shot a first round 304 and is in fifth place after the first day of the Callaway Collegiate. Team scores ~ Individual scores ~ Berry Player Cards

Methodist posted a 293 and is one shot ahead of Oglethorpe. LaGrange is in third place after shooting 297. Fourth placed Emory (302) is two shots ahead of BC. 

Alex Elmore, playing as an individual, fired a 73 and is tied for ninth place. Peter Pappas carded a 74 and is tied for 17th. Chase Kulczak and Tommy McCloskey are tied for 20th place after their rounds of 75. Ajay Patel shot 80 and Drew Kosko carded an 81 to round out the Viking team scoring.

Dakun Chang of Methodist and Washington & Lee's Conley Hurst are tied for first place. They both shot minus-three 69s at the par 72, 7025-yard course.

The final round is Sunday at the Mountain View Golf Course.
