Vikings Enter Tuesday's Final Round in Third Place
Berry's men's golf team is in third place after the first two rounds of the Kingsmen Invitational, hosted by California Lutheran University in Lompoc, Calif., Monday.
The Vikings shot 325-329-654 Monday, 12 strokes behind tournament leader Whitworth and four shots behind second place Cal Lutheran.
Tim Kim shot rounds of 83 and 78 for a team-low 161 over the first 36 holes for the Vikings. Chadd Reynolds shot back-to-back rounds of 81 for a 162 first day total, while Alex Irvin shot 80-85-165, Alex Elmore shot 81-85-166 and Jose Garcia shot 88-93-181.
Berry's Ryan Gambrell, playing as an individual, shot 87-87-174.
The tournament is scheduled to conclude with 18 holes Tuesday.
