MOUNT BERRY, Ga. — The Vikings carried an eight point halftime lead into the locker room on Wednesday night, but a strong second half from the Point University Skyhawks felled Berry's hopes, falling to 3-4 after the 87-80 loss at home.
DEMOREST, Ga. – Alton McCloud shot 60-percent (6-for-10) from the field and the three-point line (3-for-5), finishing with 19 points, as the Berry College men’s basketball team held on to defeat Piedmont College 66-63 on Saturday afternoon. Two other players added double-digits in the contest: Elijah Hirsh and Caleb Johnson, with Johnson finishing with 10 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double.
ATLANTA — The Berry College men's basketball team saw a 29-25 halftime advantage slip away at the Dorough Field House on Wednesday night, dropping their Southern Athletic Association (SAA) opener to Oglethorpe University 64-55.
MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Berry College men's basketball team gave the Emory Eagles all they could handle on Tuesday night, falling 109-103 to the out-of-conference rival. Cory Johnson led the team with 25 points, shooting 10-for-12 from the field and 5-for-6 from three-point range.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Caleb Johnson scored 29 points, but the Berry College men’s basketball team fell in their season opener to the Huntingdon Hawks by a score of 79-88. Johnson led the Vikings offensively on the night, adding five rebounds, three assists and two steals to his 29-point performance.
