Seniors Compete in All-Star Game; Miles Wins 3-Point Shootout

Berry's Tim Miles won the three-point shootout and he and Vikings teammates David Holloman, Kendall Gadie and Matt Mixer all competed in the Georgia Basketball Coaches Association Senior All-Star Showcase on March 27.

Miles won the three-point contest, which was held at halftime of the All-Star game, by defeating Norht Georgia's Carl Taylor 18-16.

The game itself featured Miles and Holloman playing for the road team and Mixer and Gadie representing the home team.  Miles and Holloman brought home bragging rights, helping lead their team to a 121-99 victory.

"These four guys have represented us as well as you can," Berry head coach Jeff Haarlow said.  "They have been the epitome of student-athletes.  It was fun to watch them represent us one more time on the floor. It is a special group of seniors."

Miles finished the game with 15 points, four rebounds and five assists, while Holloman added six points, seven boards and a pair of steals.  Miles was 3-for-4 from three-point range in the game, and 5-for-7 overall from the floor.

Gadie and Mixer scored five points apiece for the home team.  Gadie also dished out a team high five assists.
