WLAQ AM-1410 to Broadcast Inaugural Football Season

ROME, Ga. -- The Berry College athletic department is pleased to announce that all ten 2013 Viking football games can be heard live on WLAQ AM-1410.

Ben Poplin, the voice of the Rome Braves, will serve as the play-by-play announcer. Each broadcast begins 30 minutes prior to kickoff with an interview with Coach Tony Kunczewski followed by a pre-game show. A 10-minute post game show will close each broadcast.

Greater Rome Bank is the lead sponsor of the broadcasts.

Additionally, Berry sports information plans to integrate the audio feed into the video webcasts.
