Equestrian finishes fall season undefeated

ROME, Ga. -- Saturday concluded the fall season for the Vikings equestrian team. The Berry hunt seat and western teams won of their respective shows to sweep the Thanksgiving classic and stay undefeated.
The hunt seat team won the show with 45 points with Emory coming in second with 22 points. The western team won the show with 35 points with Judson coming in second with 12 points.
 

The placings for the hunt seat show are as follows:

Open Flat:

Katherine Kratina earned the award of high point riders for her first place finishes in novice flat and novice over fences.

Elizabeth Pozcobut earned the award of high point rider for her first place finishes in open reining and open horsemanship.  Andrea Smith earned the award of reserve high point rider.

The hunt seat team will be back in action on February 8th and 9th at the Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State show. The western team will return to action February 15th at the Judson show.
