Berry Breaks Out Bats In 16-10 Win at Tennessee Temple

TC Boyd went 4-for-5, Travis Blackburn drove in five runs and every Berry hitter recorded at least one hit as the Vikings defeated Tennessee Temple 16-10 Saturday in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Boyd also drove in a run, scored once and stole a base for the Vikings, who improved to 17-11 overall and completed a five-game season sweep of the Crusaders with the victory Saturday.

Blackburn and Cason Dremann each homered for Berry.  Blackburn was 2-for-5 in the game, and Dremann went 3-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs. 

Carter Reese earned the victory for the Vikings, tossing 1 2/3 innings of relief.  He came on in relief of Jonathan Stump in the fourth.  TJ Page picked up the save with 3 1/3 innings of work to close out the contest.

Berry is scheduled to return to action Tuesday, when it hosts a doubleheader against Bryan College.  First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
