Five Men's Soccer Players Named All-SAA

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Five members of the Berry College men's soccer team were named to the All-SAA team including leading goalscorer Jack Raulston who was named to the First Team and goalkeeper Cooper Cherry who was named Second Team.

A sophomore forward Raultson was named all conference for the first time after leading the Vikings with 10 goals in 18 games during the regular season. A native of Knoxville, TN Raulston led the SAA with seven game winning goals and also finished second in the conference in goals.

A junior goalkeeper Cherry was named all conference for the second year in a row after leading the Vikings in goal with 60 saves, 7 shutouts, a .800 save percentage and 0.89 goals against average. A native of Canton, GA Cherry finished the regular season second in the SAA in save percentage, third in shutouts and third in goals against average.

A senior midfielder from Indiatlantic, FL Brock Shoultz was named to the Honorable Mention team for the second year in a row after starting 13 of 18 games while scoring one goal.

A senior forward from Woodstock, GA Max Albertson was named all conference after starting 11 of 18 games while finishing second on the team with five goals and three assists for a total of 13 points.

A graduate student defender from Vestavia Hills, AL Mitch Register was named all conference after starting 14 of 16 games while recording one assists. A key player in the back Register was a large reason the Vikings had seven shutouts on the season and were third in the SAA allowing just .83 goals per game.

The Vikings will be back in action on Thursday in a rematch of their end of season game against Oglethorpe to start the SAA Conference Championships in Georgetown, TX.
