DECATUR, Ga. - Twelve different Vikings scored as Berry's women's basketball team won its fourth consecutive game with a 59-37 win over Agnes Scott Saturday afternoon at Woodruff Gymnasium.
No Viking played more than 25 minutes as Berry held the Scotties (0-12) to just three field goals in the first half. While the Berry offense struggled at times, the Vikings won every quarter, earning eight-point advantages (12-4 and 19-11) in the middle two stanzas.
Kenadie Lee led the Vikings with 10 points in 22 minutes of action.
Sydney Blankenship added seven, with
Ellie Gearing,
McKenna Lentych,
Callie Jackson, and
Karlee Armstrong each adding six.
Claire Mullins and
Reagan Sanderson each scored their first official points for Berry.
The Vikings will be back in action Monday and Tuesday at the Nashville Shoot Out in Gallatin, Tenn., on the campus of Welch College. Berry plays Simpson College Monday at 2 p.m., then faces St. Mary's (Ind.) at 2 p.m.
