Danville, KY – The women's basketball team answered back with a 63-52 win on Sunday following Saturday's loss in Kentucky.
Jana Morning led all scorers with 25 and
Sydney Blankenship added 17.
Capri Frazier led in rebounds with 11 and Morning followed with six.
Following a strong shooting performance in the first quarter, the Vikings led the Colonels 23-11 and continued their success from there while also executing on Centre's mistakes—the Vikings put up 12 points off of Colonels' turnovers.
As a team, Berry shot 41 percent from the field and 31 percent from the arc. The Vikings outrebounded the Colonels 39-35 and with a strong 50-38 lead to start the fourth quarter, Berry added 13 more to come away with the 63-52 road win.
