SEWANEE, Tenn. — Jana Morning led with 17 points, pushing the Vikings to a 61-52 victory over Sewanee on Sunday afternoon.

With the win, Berry sits at 8-8 overall and 2-3 in league play. Sewanee fell to 5-10 and 1-4 in league play. 

Morning shot 50% from the field including three from distance. Madeline Sandman also added double-digits, scoring 15 on 4-for-8 shooting. 

The Vikings started strong, leading 16-10 after the opening period and 28-23 at the half. As a team, Berry shot 46.5% from the field and added 21 points off turnovers.

Berry continues SAA play on Friday night against Birmingham-Southern in the Cage Center.
