SEWANEE, Tenn. — The Berry College track & field teams wrapped up indoor competiton on Friday, competing at the Sewanee Indoor Invitational.
The women's team finished fourth while the men earned a second place finish.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Freshman Denae Rivera tossed a 14.07m personal record (PR) in the women's weight throw. The mark is now No. 2 all-time on the indoor list. Genesis Leggett finished second in the event.
- Ethan Caldwell and freshman Braden Jarvis went 1-2 in the men's pole vault.
- Junior Genesis Leggett took first in the women's shot put. Rivera tossed a PR in the event as well.
- CJ Stone's 6.51 time in the men's 55m dash broke his own school record. Austin Schriver finished second.
- Jed Woodward led the men's shot put as Berry went 1-2-4-5.
