Box Score NEW YORK — The Berry College women's basketball team saw a tied game slip away in the third quarter on Friday afternoon, falling to Grove City 69-57 in the final game of the NYC Shootout.
With the loss, Berry slips to 6-5 overall while Grove City improved to 9-1. Eveline Parsons capped a strong weekend, leading the team with a 19 point performance. Jana Morning and Madeline Sandman also contributed double-figures.
The game was tied at 27 apiece coming out of the break. Grove City then went on a 23-10 scoring run to put the game out of reach for the Vikings. Grove City was strong in the paint, scoring 38 points.
The Vikings return to action on Dec. 30 at Emory.
