HILTON HEAD, S. C. – Both the Berry College men's and women's tennis teams defeated Cornell College 8-1 on Sunday, as they opened play at the Hilton Head Island Tournament.
For both teams, the Vikings won all six singles sets, with the No. 1 doubles teams dropping the only match of the day. With the wins, the men's team improves to 2-1 overall on the year, while the women's team improves to 1-1 overall. Cornell's men's team falls to 1-5, while the women's team falls to 9-6.
