MOUNT BERRY, Ga. — The Berry College Track and Field teams will compete at Birmingham Southern Friday and Saturday to continue their outdoor season. Events begin with throws and distance on Friday, with the majority of other events on Saturday. Notable teams present include Centre, Millsaps and Birmingham Southern, all Southern Athletic Association programs.

“This meet looks to be a solid meet with a number of schools across all collegiate divisions,” Head Coach Luke Syverson said. “Given that, and the size of the meet, it will be a good test for us and provide some stronger competition than we saw last weekend at our home meet. This meet will also give us our first look at Centre and Millsaps this season. We have loaded up the 1500m races with most of our distance crew Friday night. The throws and distances will start us off strong on Friday with the rest of the events taking place on Saturday. I really liked how we competed last weekend at home so am looking for us to build on that this weekend.”
