Rampersad Posts 17, Women's Basketball Falls to BSC 70-47

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Kristin Rampersad scored 17 points, but the Berry College women's basketball team fell to Birmingham-Southern College 70-47 on in a Southern Athletic Association matchup on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Berry then outscored Birmingham-Southern 18-11 in the third, but the Vikings rally eventually fell short.
  • The Vikings shot 27-percent (17-of-63) to the Panther's 35.3-percent (24-of-68).
  • Berry's bench contributed 18 in the outing
  • Rampersad also paced all players in shooting from beyond the arc, knocking down three.
