ROME, Ga. -- Quentin Johnson scored four goals and passed two assists as Berry College defeated Millsaps College, 15-6, on Friday night.

The win moved the Vikings to 6-8 and 3-3 in the Southern Athletic Association. The Majors dropped to 5-9 and 0-6.

Thirteen Vikings had points in the contest and Johnson had a team-high six points. Jake Emche had three goals and two helpers for the home club.

The Vikings tallied the game's first six goals. MC's Sam Snyder closed the first quarter scoring and Berry led 6-1 after the first period. BC held a 9-3 edge at halftime.

Berry College led in shots (40-30), ground balls (39-22), and faceoffs (13-12).

Nick Voso made six saves and improved to 5-8 in goal for Berry. Zack McConnell played the final period and stopped two Millsaps shots.

Jack Houtz led Millsaps with four goals.

Berry hosts Birmingham-Southern at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
