The win improved the Vikes to 1-0 on the season. The loss dropped the visiting Eagles to 0-2.

Moore's second half goal was the first of his career as a Viking. In the 63rd minute, he broke away and got behind the Reinhardt defense, just minutes after being reentered into the game.

For Reinhardt, both Jose Rubio and Matthew Gray took four shots a piece in the loss. RU's goalkeeper, Toge Wiedenroth, also had two saves.
