Men's soccer ties with Ozarks, 4-4

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Christian Fulbright scored twice and Samer Hajmurad had a goal, and an assist, but Berry had to settle for a 4-4 draw with the University of the Ozarks (Ark.) in double overtime on Sunday.

The Vikings return home from the Sewanee Invitational with a 2-1-1 record. Ozarks is now 2-0-1.

Berry built a 3-0 off Hajmruad's tally and two scores by Fulbright.

Tyler Jennings recorded two assists for Berry.

The Vikings dominated the statistics. GC led in shots (31-11) and corner kicks (7-1). Berry led 4-1 in the second half but surrendered three late goals to the Eagles.

Austin Benner had 12 saves for Ozarks. Logan Hill started the match for BC and allowed no goals. Zachary Wroblewski played the last 65 minutes. He made two saves.

 "Today was a really disappointing result," said Berry Head Coach Richard Vardy. "I can't recall a Berry game with so many bad mistakes, and with us missing so many chances.  We have to regroup quickly for Tuesday's game and stop giving up bad goals."

Berry hosts Covenant on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
