Berry Banter: The Vikings have not won three straight games since the 2010-11 season...Berry College has not won two straight road contests since the 2007-08 campaign...The game is a homecoming for senior guard Mac Whalen. He starred at Heathwood Hall before arriving at Berry. His father--Jeff Whalen--is still the athletic director at the school...Whalen is off to good start for BC as he's averaging 16.3 points per game....Teammate Owen Jacobs leads the SAA in both scroing (20.3 PPG) and rebounding (13.7 RPG).
Ramblings: CIU is 3-4 on the season....On Monday afternoon, the Rams lost to Thomas University of Thomasville, Ga., 78-71. The Rams were 10-10 on free throws in the second half and out-rebounded the Nighthawks 27-21 including 8 offensive rebounds...Joe Isenhour led the Rams in scoring with 16 points including shooting 4-6 from the three point line. Ben Johnson added 13 points and 9 rebounds.
