Berry's Tim Miles scored a game high 23 points, but Covenant knocked off the Vikings 58-54 in the Division III Provisional Tournament in Steubenville, Ohio Friday.
Berry led 32-24 at halftime, but was unable to hold the lead down the stretch as Covenant came back to defeat the Vikings for the first time in three tries this season.
The Scots (6-20) shot 51 percent (23-for-45) from the field in the game, including 54 percent (13-for-24) in the game's final 20 minutes.
Berry (15-11) hit just 38 percent (19-for-50) of its shots and was held to 33 percent (9-for-27) shooting in the second half.
Miles also led all players with eight rebounds. He was joined in double figures by David Holloman, who scored 13 points and grabbed seven boards.
Kacey Chambers led Covenant with 15 points and was one of three Scots players to score in double figures off the bench. The others were Callum Sears, who scored 13 points, and Chase Foster, who added 11.
Berry will play its season finale Saturday at noon, when it will face either Birmingham-Southern or Franciscan.
