Samford scored the game's first 20 points en route to a 95-59 victory over Berry at the Pete Hanna Center in Birmingham Tuesday.
Berry's first points against the NCAA Division I Bulldogs came on a 3-point field goal by Brittany Coughlan 6:14 into the game. The Bulldogs closed the half with a 16-4 run to pull away for good. Samford led by as many as 38 points in the second half.
