Holly Compton scored a team high 14 points in Berry's 65-52 loss to Susquehanna Thursday afternoon in the Land of Magic Classic in Daytona Beach, Fla.

After trailing by 16 at halftime, the Lady Vikings (4-7) outscored Susquehanna 32-29 in the final 20 minutes.

For the second straight game, Berry was victimized by poor shooting, hitting just 28 percent (15-for-54) of its shots from the field, including 2-for-22 (9.1 percent) from three-point range. 

Brittany Coughlan and Carol Lampley added nine points apiece for the Lady Vikings, while Megan walsh scored eight points and grabbed seven rebounds, tied with Compton's rebounding total for the most by a Berry player.

Gina Palazzi led Susquehanna (6-6) with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

The Lady Vikings are scheduled to return to action Jan. 5, when they host Birmingham-Southern.
