Crumley, Miles Named Athletes of the Week

ROME, Ga. - Berry College basketball players Erica Crumley (Sr., Cleveland, GA) and Tim Miles (Sr., Marietta, GA) have been honored as Berry's Athletes of the Week for their performances during the week ending Nov. 21.

Crumley was named Female Athlete of the Week after leading the Lady Vikings in scoring at the Centre College's Country Hearth Inn/Lee's Famous Recipe Classic.  Crumley scored 31 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, dished out four assists, and shot 100% from the foul line in two games to lead the Lady Vikings to a 1-1 record during the tournament.

Miles earned the Male Athlete of the Week honor due to his sharp shooting in the first three games of the season.  The team scoring leader in all three games this season, Miles has scored a total of 68 points, averaging 22.7 points per game, and is currently shooting 46% from the three-point line.  Miles has also added a team-leading 29 rebounds (9.7 per game) to his great offensive performances this season.  The Vikings own a 2-1 record to start the season.
