Poff is entering his second year with the Berry College Sports Medicine department as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. He is outreached by Advance Rehab in Rome, Ga. He was an Athletic Trainer with Northeast Georgia Physician Group out of Gainesville, Ga., where he served the student athletes and communities of Truett-McConnell College, White County High School, and West hall High School for nine years. He created a mentorship program at the two high schools he provided care for among high school students interested in a future in the medical field to work with athletes on a daily basis.
He graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training and has been a certified athletic trainer since 2006. His primary repsonsiblities include men's soccer, swimming & diving and men's lacrosse.
Poff and his wife of five years, Carla, are parents to twins Hunter and Emilie and reside in Rome, Ga.
