ATLANTA — For the second time this season, Berry's Eveline Parsons has been selected as the Southern Athletic Association's (SAA) Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

For the week, Parsons averaged 22.5 points and shot 51.9 percent from the field, leading Berry to a 2-0 week.

The Metarie, La., native led all-scorers with 26 points against Rhodes College on Friday night, shooting 50-percent (7-for-14) from the field, while sinking four three-pointers. Seven of her 26 points came in the final quarter of play, as she led the Vikings to a comeback victory over the Lynx, sinking back-to-back free throws with 10 seconds left in the contest to ensure Berry’s 59-58 win.

She then added an additional 19 points in Berry’s matchup against Hendrix on Sunday. She finished the contest 7-for-13 from the field, while adding four assists and shooting 75-percent (3-for-4) in the final 10 minutes of play to ensure the comeback victory over the second-ranked Warriors. Parsons is averaging 10.5 points per game on the year, scoring double-digit points 10 times this season, while leading Berry to a 5-6 conference record.

Berry is back in action in Danville, Ky., on Friday night to take on Centre College.
