Berry Athletics Launches New-Look BerryVikings.com
ROME, Ga. - Berry College's Department of Athletics has launched a newly-designed web site, accessible at www.BerryVikings.com.
The site, designed by the staff at PrestoSports, incorporates a new, sleek look while maintaining the integrity and many of the design elements of the college's primary site, www.berry.edu.
"We are very grateful for the hard work of the staff at PrestoSports in building the new BerryVikings.com," said Mickey Seward, Berry's Director of Sports Information and Promotions. "As we continue our journey into NCAA Division III and the Southern Athletic Association, this latest web site design is another example of Berry College associating itself with some of the finest colleges and universities, not only in our region, but in the nation."
Currently, over 350 colleges, universities and athletic conferences are a part of the PrestoSports network.
Along with the usual array of game stories, statistics, rosters and student-athlete and coach biographies, the new BerryVikings.com features more graphical features than past versions of the site, as well as direct feeds for social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, opportunities to register for athletics department newsletters or news about any sport to be sent directly to an email address, a composite calendar for all sports and links to live online statistics and broadcasts.
In addition, a mobile site using the same www.BerryVikings.com address is accessible for fans using mobile devices such as an iPhone, Blackberry or other device.
Berry's athletics season begins unofficially this weekend, when the cross country, volleyball and soccer teams compete in scrimmages. The teams will compete in their first regular season contests in September. Check www.BerryVikings.com for updated schedules for each sport.
